Volvo’s Drive Towards Zero Emissions
Volvo Car Corporation, the Swedish car maker is renowned for its safety innovations. Volvo was the first car maker to introduce 3 point seatbelts for all rear cabin occupants. Volvo was also the pioneer of the Side Impact Protection System (SIPs). Modern diesel engine Volvo models are amongst the most economical cars out there, and the Swedish build quality has only improved over time.
Over the recent years car manufacturers have started to focus more of their attention on lowering fuel consumption and CO2 levels. The Volvo S60 DRIVe, V60 DRIVe, V70 DRIVe and the S80 DRIVe models can now be ordered with Volvo’s Powershift dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
